J. P. Mukherji & Associates Pvt. Ltd. (JPMA), a dedicated consultancy organization for sugar and allied industries, was established in 1972 and was incorporated into a Private Limited Company in 1974. JPMA is an ISO: 9001-2015 accredited Company.
Mr. J P Mukherji, the founder of the Company, was earlier Chief Executive of Walchandnagar Industries Limited, (WIL) India, where he was responsible for pioneering the manufacture of sugar machinery and indigenously designing turnkey sugar projects. Mr. Mukherji was responsible for pioneering exports of sugar machinery and complete sugar projects from India.
After retirement from WIL, Mr. J P Mukherji started JPMA with a small group of experts in 1972. Today, JPMA has grown into a highly reputed firm specializing in all aspects of sugarcane, sugar and by-products, with special emphasis on the development of new technologies and suitable application in the production of raw, refined, white sugar manufacturing, cogeneration of power and production of rectified spirit, ethanol and extra neutral alcohol.
